Regular Season Round 11: Den Bosch - Aalst 98-76

There was a minor upset when 6th ranked BelgianOkapi Aalst (7-4) was outplayed on the road by ninth ranked Dutch Den Bosch (6-4) 98-76 on Sunday. Den Bosch outrebounded Aalst 43-22 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Den Bosch looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Aalst 's players. It was a great evening for Lithuanian Arunas Mikalauskas (203-1997) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Xavier Cork (206-2001, college: TCU, agency: Helping Ballers) helped adding 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Den Bosch players scored in double figures. Den Bosch's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Dante Maddox Jr (188, college: Xavier) responded with 25 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) and point guard Niels Van Den Eynde (179-2000) scored 20 points and 5 assists. Defending Dutch champion moved-up to seventh place. Loser Okapi Aalst keeps the sixth position with four games lost.
